The Austrian Festival Orchestra will perform at the Shenzhen Concert Hall on Jan. 2 and 3. The orchestra represents Austria at big festivals such as the Tauriska and Salzart Festivals in Europe.
The Austrian Festival Orchestra hails from the world-famous town of Oberndorf, Salzburg, from which the famous Christmas carol "Silent Night, Holy Night," came.
The orchestra will be conducted by Gerald Mair, who won awards at the Rastede International Music Festival in 2003 and the 2006 Austrian Mozartino Music Awards.
