Professor Yang Yandi is currently the associate dean of Shanghai Conservatory of Music, professor of music, vice president of Shanghai Music Association.  Mr. Yang received master’s degree and doctor’s degree in 1986 and 1994 respectively.  He has studied in Britain and done a lot of academic research in Germany and America.  His publications include Introduction to History of Aesthetics Music’s Idea, Melodious Sound of Music, Principal of Music History etc which cover over 2 million words.  Mr. Yang has also received several awards from State Council, Ministry of Education and Ministry of Culture.
